The Athens International Digital Film Festival, as an artistic event, co-ordinates with the historical passage of cinema in the Digital Age and, as a Festival, is a pioneering movement for Greek data that has a great response from artists all over the world. It is now one of the largest European Festivals of its kind, according to its duration, the number of films screened and the actions it hosts.
As a festival, it is an extremely demanding effort for those who support it with a basic vision of culture and new cinema, but also an action with a distinct meaning that at a time of crisis is constantly demonstrating that its continuity is important and that it deserves to be supported.
The Athens International Digital Film Festival, which annually hosts hundreds of films from around the world and dozens of premieres, aims at the promotion of contemporary cinematographic work and the continuous development of a platform for dialogue between the creators and the public. At the same time, in the framework of its creative parallel events, organizes and hosts large and complete thematic tributes.
