Α “white night” of culture in Athens!
On Saturday, September 23, 2017, atenistas invite the Athenians to wander in the city from 8 pm to 6 am and discover different expressions in a variety of art and culture organizations open to the public with productions for that particular night and free entrance. From 2 am to 4 am in the morning, action will culminate with after event partying in athenian bars!
It is an organization that has been a successful institution for decades in major cities around the world. A great artistic activity involving actively small and large, public and private cultural operators and artists. It is the response of cultural organizations to open their doors in the evening, beyond the usual schedule, and to welcome the Athenians with visual arts, music, dance, theater, photography, videos, collections of records and documents, street art indoors and outdoors.
Art Night Athens aims to create optimism, fuel the hope and bring us all closer to the art and its unique effect on the human mind. To show how much we can achieve when working together and with common goals. Glad to see Athens as an attractive, lively and interesting city, a modern and important metropolis.
