The Athens Open Air Film Festival, refreshed and ready for wanderings inside and outside Athens, is coming to fill our summer nights with fine screenings, from June to September, with companionship with beloved cinema heroes!
For the seventh consecutive year, the beloved Summer Cinema Institution returns by proposing a cinema summer for those staying in the city. Separate corners, archaeological sites, gorges, squares, beaches and some of the most beautiful museums and sites of Athens are also transformed into “summer cinemas” with free admission to the public.
Dramas and award-winning creations from around the world, timeless cult movies, Greek films and unexplored cinema diamonds, accompanied by live music, is this year’s 7th Athens Open Air Film Festival.
A co-organization of the Organization for Culture, Sport and Youth of the City of Athens (OPANDA), the Cinema Magazine, cinemag.gr and in cooperation with the British Council, which starts on Tuesday, June 13 and ends on September 1st.
